St. Louis delegation 2011

July 27 - August 6, 2011

This year we were able to sponsor an official delegation from St. Louis to the city of Samara. This delegation represented the political, business, and medical community of St. Louis. The delegation was able to meet with many dignitaries and important members of the medical and business community of Samara including the mayor of Samara Mr. Dmitri Azarov and minister of the health Mr. Valeriy Kirillov who invited our delegation. The delegation toured the city of Samara, toured various health clinics, business development areas and a meeting at the Duma of Samara. During the visit the delegation had opportunities to discuss with Samaran officials the many areas of connection and common purpose between the cities of St. Louis and Samara, including public health, economic development, and cultural exchange and how we as an organization hope to continue to expand these exchanges.
